Bawls is an interesting drink to review, in that it is a bit different from your usual energy drink. It is a drink that is famous (or infamous) amongst college campuses, since it is quite effective for keeping you awake to do some more cramming. The drink, which is said to be guarana flavored, tastes like a sweeter and smoother version of Sprite. It is a very refreshing drink indeed. Since this drink only has caffiene and guarana and nothing else, it does not contain the endurance and power ingredients that you may
find in other drinks, which is why I wouldn't recommend it for doing lots of physical activity. It provides just a straight-out caffiene high that is perfect for parties or for keeping you awake when trying to pull all-nighters, making it a great "social" drink. I also hear that this stuff mixes quite well with alcoholic beverages as well. So why am I giving it such a high score? Because it succeeds at what it sets out to be--a great social drink for hanging out with friends or at parties.

Bawls. You've got to love that name. Bawls is one of the better tasting energy drinks on the market, tasting like a creamy, fruity sprite. Its taste is far better than a Red Bull or even a Monster. It has a very light carbonation, so little that you can only really tell if you shake it up. It also has unique packaging. Its blue bottle has grippy bumps on it, making it look kind of silly. It definitely gets you wired, though not as much as a Monster. One bawls can keep you up around eight hours. The only real downside is the price, and availability. The only places selling it brick-and-mortar that I've found are 7-11s, and Mobils, but they want up to $3.50 a bottle. The internet, on the other hand, can offer prices as low as 99 cents a bottle, making it priced very competitively. Definitely a must-try.
